We are experts in caring for you and your little bundle of joy on the way, so we’ve personalized every aspect to be sure you receive the best of care here.
We talk a lot about the little things that go into your Parkside Experience and that’s especially true of our expectant families. We aspire to make you feel at home here. And, to put your mind at ease, our doctors are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

This helps make it easier for you to establish care with incredibly supportive providers you know are trusted, and most importantly, helps you feel confident with the care of your new baby.

- Schedule a Pre-Assessment or Lactation Assessment with Breastfeeding Center of Greenville BEFORE your baby is born.
- Parkside OB-GYN and Breastfeeding Center of Greenville are conveniently located in the same office. Schedule a postpartum visit for mom along with your first breastfeeding visit.

Progression of Pregnancy: A Class for Moms in Their 2nd Trimester
Designed for moms entering their 2nd trimester of pregnancy, but expectant moms of any gestational age are welcome. We explore the relationship between baby’s development and the changes our bodies undergo throughout pregnancy, tips to cope with common discomforts related to pregnancy, key concepts related to a healthy pregnancy, what to expect at your OB visits, and pointers to help you prepare for baby throughout the pregnancy.
Getting Ready for Birth & Recovery
Our class is intended to empower patients nearing the end of their pregnancy by educating them on how to prepare for the hospital, what to expect for both mom and baby, advice for their partners on how to help, and more. We also will discuss common things that can alter your birth plan so that you feel more prepared and less anxious if they occur! This class meets at Parkside Ob-Gyn once a month from 6:00-8:30 pm. This free class is an excellent avenue for expectant parents to have all their questions answered about breastfeeding before their baby is born. Taught by one of our Certified Lactation Consultants, this course is open to couples. We encourage partner participation as it can be one of the keys to success for new moms adjusting to breastfeeding. This class is held at the Breastfeeding Center at Parkside on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. There are limited spots in the class, so reserve your spot by registering above.
As a new mom, you’ll have many questions about your newborn. In this free class you'll join other new moms along with our very own Certified Lactation Consultants for Baby Basics. Specifically designed for moms with babies under 12 weeks, this class will put your mind at ease. Here you can receive answers to questions about your baby. Plus, you can meet other new moms to share in the adventure of raising a new baby. The class meets at the Breastfeeding Center at Parkside every Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 am. No registration is required.
